There are main players in the video search and sharing marketing industry just like there are main players in the SEO mainstream search engine industry. Google recognized this in early 2007 and finalized the purchase of YouTube in November of 2007 even though they already had Google video search. They realized that YouTube controlled over 52% of the video viewer traffic with their online video sharing site, and made wise decision to purchase them

Google paid a whopping 1.65 billion dollars for this acquisition but new that on line videos were a gold mine for website traffic. They also new they would now be the leading search engine as well as the leading online video share engine site as well as the leader in online video sharing sites. it is mo wonder that every search engine marketer, and video sharing and video marketer uses Google as the template to design their respective online marketing strategies.

If you plan on converting you online articles such as newspaper articles, and how to articles, you have posted to various news article directories and article directories, you will need to understand how YouTube lists and measures your online videos. YouTube is not a online video search engine site. They do not send video spiders out looking for videos. Well that depends on allot of different variables. In my opinion and there are many out there, there two variables you need to pay very close attention too. You need to identify who the opinion leaders are and how they discover the videos they would like to share with their followers. And number two you need to identify where they are discovering, when, and how.

In the first variable there the opinion leaders identify and download videos they think their followers might be interested in. In the second variable they are actually spreading their influence by recommending videos for their followers to watch. This could be millions of viewers or just a few depending on what there niche is and how many followers they have. For example YouTube editors could be classified as opinion leaders because they recommend sites to viewers in the different channels. If you end up on one of these recommend hot lists it could turn in to massive traffic depending how large your channel following is.

Well folks that concludes my article about submitting video articles to online video sharing sites and online video search engine sites.

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Video creation and Video creation submission has evolved into its own social media. For the past few years the popularity of of on line videos has risen drastically. For example the big player YouTube has has over 150,000 new videos submitted to their video directory every day. Also, 50,000 videos are watched daily on YouTube. So you would think you your video on YouTube would never be watched with those statistics but that statement is not necessarily true. and I would like to show you a few tips in my article today that will help you get your video watched on YouTube and other video directories such as Blim.tv, Howcast, Photobucket, Veoh, Vsocial, Dailymotion, Metacafe, Revver, Viddler, Yahoo Video, Facebook, Myspace Videos, Sclipo, and Vimeo.

Step # 1 Keep your video short and too the point.

As a rule of thumb, create videos that are 2 to 3 minutes in length. Many of the video sites such as myspace won't accept any videos over 2 minutes in length. If you have a message that you want to get out that is longer then 3 minutes then We suggest you create a series of short videos , say part #1 , part # 2 etc.

Step # 2 Writing a good keyword rich tittle is very important.

Goggle loves video streams but you need to tell Google what your video is about in your video tittle. You want to include your main idea keyword or keyword phrase as your very first words of your tittle. You then need to ad a secondary keyword somewhere in the tittle before the end. For example I created a video from one of my articles using a specialized software using the following tittle. "Fishing Rig: Tips on How to Make Slip Sinker Rigs Details Here!" Notice that my main keyword phrase "fishing rig" is listed first, and my secondary keyword phrase "slip sinker rigs" is listed later. When you create your video description make sure you include these same keywords or keyword phrases some where in your description. You will get more people to watch your video using this method.

Step # 3 Writing a good keyword rich description is very important.

Here again Google loves video but you need to direct them to the right place. You need to write your video description with keywords and keyword phrases that are included in your video. Also you need to include the main and secondary keyword or keyword phases you used in your tittle when writing your description.

Step # 4 Do not overlook the video tags when you submit to video directories!

When you submit your video to video directories such as YouTube Blim.tv, Howcast, Photobucket, Veoh, Vsocial, Dailymotion, Metacafe, Revver, Viddler, Yahoo Video, Facebook, Myspace Videos, Sclipo, and Vimeo. Make sure you list your main keyword and your secondary keyword you listed in the tittle and the description of your video. Also include at least 5 to 7 more keyword phrases that are used in your video with these tags. The reason the video tags are so import is because when people search for specific videos in the video directories these tags are used.

Well folks, we sincerely hope the information in our article about submitting videos to video directories will help you to submit your own videos.
