How to Market Your YouTube Video

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Having a YouTube channel is a great idea for increasing your business's internet exposure. But you have to put some efforts into your channel and the videos in order for them to be popular. In this article we are going to talk about ways you can use to market your YouTube videos.

-Provide valuable content

This is a given, no matter what else you do, If you do not have valuable and interesting content to your target audience then your YouTube video marketing will not succeed. Your content must be interesting, to the point and not overly pitching your products or services. Stay subtle.

-Generate YouTube video marketing exposure by collecting ratings and comments

Do not deactivate ratings and comments on your video, never. Even if you get the inevitable bad comments, you must trust in your content enough to know that your rating will eventually be high. And when this happens, your highly rated video will attract publicity and more favorable comments.

-Have a unique video description

Pay attention to what you write in your video descriptions. These few lines are the key to your YouTube video marketing success. By having interesting video descriptions you increase the chances of users watching your videos.

-Do not hype or pitch your deal

There is nothing that YouTube users hate more than videos preaching about the need to buy certain products. Do not over emphasize your products or services, instead focus on intriguing content.

Use review videos in your YouTube video marketing

Encourage your loyal customers to make review videos about your products or services and post. These are great because they are more believable than regular ads, and more effective than written testimonials

Submit your videos to social bookmarking sites

This will spread your video around the internet a lot faster and to more users. Target sites where your target customers spend their time for maximum effect.

Utilising YouTube For Some Excellent Free Internet Marketing

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Recently, when booking a holiday accommodation, I found an excellent use of YouTube for publicity purposes. The landlord was only slowly around the house and turned the apartment when he went. This gave a tour of the apartment, the other to share it with all uploaded on the website.

As a web designer, with videos on YouTube are already customers to manage with ease. This is because they make video sharingso simple. There are no costs to rise, there is no way to convert videos from the customer in the wrong format or a DVD. It is equally easy, if you get your website, and you can also upload videos in any blogging tool, if you host your blog or with the free tool.

So if you are promoting a service for which you can take a video, upload it to YouTube and then embed into your website. It may seem complicated, butthe exact piece of code to cut and paste into your site. There should be only second.

Not only do homeowners who use this service. I know a wedding videographer, the sample videos uploaded, and these are set in place. For those who can video their service or product, this technique will work.

But there is no need to get the best of YouTube just taking videos and linking to it from your site. I recently saw a video for examplesomeone who is also to be housing. Instead of a simple video on the company, was a funny video about some imaginary travelers. This video has been active in other ways. Instead of adding the service website, which is trying to drive more visitors.

How does it work? Now start, people, watch the video and rate it. Some of these people enjoy the video and decide to show their friends. This means that the video will be shown in aCircle of people that is activated, the greater the likelihood of these friends are the bridge to forward to their friends.

This is good marketing. Do not pay for marketing efforts, others do it for you through word of mouth. What's better than the free market potentially hundreds of people who do not know? This is truly viral marketing really works.

Of course, only to produce the video is not enough. Not only need to respond to a group of people,it needs to link back to you. Maybe in the background it very clearly shows your logo or right at the end of the video your website address scrolls across the screen.

How To Create Your Own YouTube Video

Image : http://www.flickr.com

The Internet used to be only for research. However, it has grown greatly since than, and so have its uses. Billions of people now rely on the Internet for their entertainment. YouTube is one of those forms of entertainment. It's a website that permits its visitors to view video material uploaded by users. You can look at other people's homemade videos, and even upload and share some video material of your own.

Making your own video is a lot of fun, and not as hard as it sounds. Many people of all different ages are making their own videos and sharing them on YouTube. These can be used to show a favorite scene from a TV show, share information and how to's, or just be funny. If you want to get involved in making your own video, get started thinking up some ideas now!

Remember that the idea is the most important part of your video. Too many people just stick to reading about the technical details. This is all well and good, but YouTube takes care of most of that. You can worry about your content instead, since YouTube offers one of the easiest processes of upload you can find on the Internet.

The first step is, of course, making your own video. You'll have to get a standard video recording device, like a camcorder or a webcam. You can make pretty much any kind of video you like, as long as you adhere to the terms and standards. Remember that thousands of people are going to see your video, so make sure it's appropriate. Warn potential viewers if you're going to put any kind of foul language, graphic material, or other possibly objectionable content in. You can put this warning in your YouTube video's title.

Remember that there are several limitations when you post on YouTube. These include video length and file size. YouTube currently limits your uploaded video to a length of no more than ten minutes. It must also be less than a hundred megabytes in file size. There are some other rules in the terms of use agreement that you should be sure to check on. However, beyond that, there are no additional restrictions. You may make as many videos as you choose, for instance. This means that if you want to make a longer piece, you can simply split it up into two parts.

You must be able to save your video into a file, using movie making software. There are many different offerings in this category, including names like MovieMaker and Imovie. You can easily download these programs, or your computer may already come with the appropriate software. This is often the case on newer computers. Open your video on the computer with one of these programs, and you can edit and save it.

When you upload your video, you must first be a member. Membership on YouTube is free. Signing up is just a way for the site to keep your information attached to your videos so that they can be tracked. Since a lot of people upload many different videos, this is important. Once you've signed in, you should be able to find a link to allow you to create and upload your video content. Just follow the directions there, and you'll soon have your very own YouTube video. If you have a fast Internet connection, your video could be online in just a few minutes.

Social Networking War - Making Money Quick Learning Who Will Win

Image : http://www.flickr.com

It's always the same. When the automobile was first being manufactured, many companies jumped in and they are mostly gone now. When the Internet first started, many websites sprung up to do similar tasks, then the market consolidated around a few winners. That is ALWAYS what happens.

The latest craze is Social Networking. Lots of sites have sprung up... Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and many others. Which one will win?

If you put all your energies into the one that fails, you will have wasted time and be behind. If you grasp onto the correct one, that wins and grows, your efforts will be hugely rewarded.

So, which one will win?

Let's look at the big ones.

YouTube

Google bought YouTube and regrets their decision. Google invests a shocking $1 million a day into buying servers and memory just for YouTube because YouTube gobbles up more memory and bandwidth than any other non-profitable service on the web. YouTube is currently losing about a half-billion dollars a year! This cannot last. You may contend: but it is so much fun and so valuable to exchange videos! That's true, but it's losing too much money. Starbucks could dramatically increase their traffic if every single product they offered were free. Their number of customers would skyrocket. Their name and reputation would rise. And, then they'd fail because they would be losing money. Why is it easy to see with Starbucks yet tougher to see with Social Networking? YouTube will not survive.

Facebook

This site began as a digital online version of the book which Harvard University published every year. To this day, it is mostly for the younger generation. And, they won't pay for services and Facebook will unlikely migrate up to the business crowd which will pay. Sure there are businesses on Facebook, but that is really not their sweet spot. Also, Facebook is very complicated. Groups, Friends, Fan Pages. Considerable work is required to keep this going. Facebook will not survive.

LinkedIn and all the other Facebook take-offs

They are already failing or are too small to be considered as contenders. They are already not surviving.

So, which one will win? No one now really knows, but here is my best forecast...

TWITTER!

Twitter will be the winner. Twitter grew from half-million in early 2008 to 7 million in early 2009 to an expected 100 million in early 2010. That's faster and higher than any site has ever grown ever. Further, Twitter is really easy to do with very little effort, no training, a few very simple rules and tiny messages of only 140 characters. Just like are society these days, just like fast-action movies these days, Twitter is exactly like these. Fast. Easy. Fun. Twitter will be the winner.

I personally am considering dropping my interest in Facebook and focusing entirely on Twitter. I am personally focusing on considerably increasing my Twitter followership. That's where I see the future. Join me.

How to Grow Your Network With YouTube Using Tube Blaster Pro

Image : http://www.flickr.com

I recently came across someone's website after sending him a random friend request on YouTube. And boy am I glad I found his site.

Lots of great content on there and his story about how he started is very similar to mine. I basically just sent him a friend request because he had a video about something to do with "Home Business". I asked him if he owned his own business and if he could tell me a bit more about it. He responded a few days later and gave me a link to his site..where I read his story.

If I never took the steps to reach out and contact him and other like minded people and get to know them, I never would have found this guy or the many other people out there who just may have something to help me get to the next step in my online business.

Networking with people like this is actually really easy to do online and YouTube makes it even easier. This is how I find other "like minded critters" to connect with on YouTube:

I do a search on YouTube on a keyword that relates to the kind of people I want to connect with. For example, when I found Jamison I did a search for "Online Business" and got bunch of videos..hundreds to thousands of them.

Then I use Tube Blaster Pro to gather the usernames of the authors of these videos. I then setup it up to automatically send a friend request to all of the authors of those videos I want. I even send a short little message along to let them know I am a real person interested in their videos. In this recent case my short note went something like this:

"Hi there. Your video was interesting. Do you own your own business? Can you tell me more about it?"

They approve my friend request and respond to me explaining their business. I get to learn about what these people really have to offer and they look at my page and videos. So it works in both of our favor. I learn a bit about them and they learn a bit about me.

If I didn't use the Tube Blaster Pro software to get all these friend requests it would take an eternity to connect with these people. This software allows me to introduce myself and then become connected to "like mind people" all in one whack...usually while I am sleeping. Thats when I let it run.

Bottom line is..you want to use the giant leveraging capabilities of the internet to connect with as many people as possible to grow your business, you network, your knowledge and your awareness. You never know who you are going to come across or what you will learn from that one person. They may be the key or the inspiration that gets you to that next step or where you want to be.

I know I am talking about Tube Blaster Pro again but it has really helped me out a lot in growing my network on YouTube. I've come across some very valuable content and knowledgeable people.

How to Use YouTube for Internet Marketing

Image : http://www.flickr.com

How to use YouTube for Internet Marketing? It's a good question. Is using YouTube just for kids and comedians? How can we use it in our marketing efforts? YouTube is just for fun, right? Well, yes it is and that's the whole point.

A picture paints a thousand words...a video?...

YouTube has been around a while and is now a Google platform. Why? Well, Google could see the power of the medium for advertising. There are already tons of videos on there that are simply adverts. For a song, a band, a movie, a car, you name it.

People love short, sharp messages and videos are perfect for this. As internet marketers can we benefit? You bet we can.

Inimitable

There is so much 'stuff' in the internet marketing world that is simply recycled garbage. The same old, same old method, trick, gizmo turned around again and again. When any new idea comes out it is pounced on and regurgitated under apparent new guises. OK, you knew that, right?

But what about a video...I mean a really personal one. YOU on camera talking about YOUR passion, YOUR interest, YOUR product!

Who can imitate that?

Slick is 'dick'

Forget big productions, actors, lighting, directors, etc. Watch an Ed Dale video. As Ed says...'slick is 'dick'...you have to put yourself on there and more importantly what ever you are talking about has to be good.

Your own presentation can be as bad as you can manage (and trust me bad is easy) but your message must be good. Any product you are selling must be good. Why?

Videos are Viral

A good message in a YouTube video will be spread all over the internet. You must have seen tons already. But I bet you've seen even more bad ones.

They can be funny, quirky...it does not matter as long as the underlying message is solid.

Try One

So what can we, as internet marketers, do? One of the biggest problems any marketer faces is trust. Do people believe our message? Do we believe it ourselves?

Well, if you put yourself in front of a camera, you will find out.

Find out now how to use YouTube for Internet Marketing because Web 2.0 is here and now and you don't want to miss out! Oh! And it's great fun!

Video Microsites - The Brand Story Campaign Solution

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Everyone wants to do more business. Everyone occasionally runs a promotion, a new marketing initiative, a product launch, or a new seasonal lineup. Everyone has a website stuffed with all kinds of content ranging from the important to the useless. But only the truly smart business minds understand that campaigns require their own space and identity if they are to succeed. And when it comes to using the Web as your vehicle for such a campaign, the obvious solution is a Video Campaign Microsite.

What's A Video Campaign Microsite?

Video Campaign Microsites are websites that employ a series of highly focused video presentations designed specifically for the purpose of promoting a single marketing initiative aimed at a highly targeted audience. Video Campaign Microsites are dedicated to delivering an engaging online experience that compels an audience to act by taking advantage of the marketing initiative's offer. These sites benefit from removing all the corporate clutter and irrelevant information that inhabits most business websites and generally gets in the way of an effective marketing presentation. Video Microsites are often implemented by means of a direct email campaign or depending on the budget, magazine, television, or radio advertising. You can also channel corporate site traffic by means of a graphical home page link.

There are different styles of video Microsites that you can employ depending on your brand personality and the goals of the campaign.

1. New Product Launch Video Microsites

The launch of a new product or a seasonal line should be an event, and there is no better way to attract attention and generate public and media interest than to create a brand new website environment dedicated to that launch.

2. Promotional Campaign Video Microsites

A sale is just a sale, and today's sophisticated buyers have seen it all before, so unless you make a big event out of your promotion, all you'll end up doing is selling your regular customers the products they would have bought anyway but at a lower markup. A big media splash attracts new customers, new media attention, and old customers you've lost.

3. How-To Video Microsites

There is nothing more damaging to your brand or your bottom line than customers who hate you, and who tell their friends and colleagues. A surefire way to make people angry is to sell them something they can't figure out how to use properly, and a buried FAQ, or a complicated list of instructions in twelve languages and 9 point Times Roman is just not going to cut it. A how-to video site can show people how to use and get the most out of your products or services in a way they will understand and appreciate.

4. Video Mocusites

There is one thing that you definitely cannot be on the Web, and that is boring. Boring websites are the kiss of death. The Web is a crowded place and no matter what you're looking for, there are probably dozens if not hundreds or thousands of other companies doing the exact same thing, the same way, and probably for less money. You may think you're different but your Web audience won't, unless you present yourself in a whole new differentiating way; and one way to do that is with a Video Mocusite. A great example of a Video Mocusite was the Chili's restaurant chain's PJ Bland's campaign.

5. Video Docusites

Where the Video Mocusite takes an entertaining, humorous, and satirical approach to communicating your marketing message, Video Docusites takes a look at the history, longevity, innovation, and success of a company in order to build confidence, loyalty, and brand identity. Ford's Bold Moves Docusite was a good example of this kind of campaign.

6. Concept Video Microsites

A Concept Video Microsite is about presenting an idea. Some products and services are so innovative or different that they can only be sold if you communicate the concept behind them. Other products may be similar to competitors but the way they are sold is different and creative. In these types of instances the Concept Video Microsite is the answer. The SonicPersonality and 136Words sites are examples of Concept Video Microsites.

7. Sponsored Video Webisode Microsites

Sponsored Video Webisode Microsites are a great marketing vehicle for those companies with the guts and foresight to recognize what the Web is all about. These types of campaigns attract an ongoing loyal audience because they are bite-sized mini programs or episodes designed to entertain and/or educate without an overt sales pitch. If conceived and designed properly your program content delivers your emotional and psychological value proposition while the accompanying pre- and post-commercials deliver your direct pitch. Think of it as sponsoring your own private online mini television series.

8. Demographic Video Microsites

When a company has different campaigns for different demographic markets, it should present them separately to avoid confusion, mixed messages, and a dilution of the brand identity, image, and personality.

Microsites Help You Avoid Information Overload

Fashion and apparel companies, for example, all have seasonal product lines that need to be promoted in a current, if not trendy, manner. Dumping such a campaign into your regular corporate Web environment gets in the way of achieving the campaign's marketing goals: the audience looking for new products and promotions is not interested in your Investor Relations or Career Opportunities, and likewise, the people looking for jobs and investment information aren't interested in your holiday specials. It doesn't matter how good your presentation is if you bury it so nobody ever sees its. If website visitors can't find what they're looking for fairly quickly, they're gone.

And why should a fashion or apparel company use video at all? The answer is simple: there is just no better way to present how a garment looks on a real person from all sides and angles, and when they move. Add a little voice-over description and you've got your own little fashion show designed to move product whether online or in-store. Too many companies, especially e-commerce companies, still 'think print' even when they are using the Web as their main marketing communication vehicle.

Microsites Help You Avoid The Confusion of Mixed Messages

If there is one thing that will kill your marketing, branding, and positioning faster than anything else it's sending mixed messages to multiple audiences using the same venue or vehicle. Fast food companies are continuously running promotions and they use television as their primary marketing communication vehicle. The problem is television commercials are a shotgun approach: you broadcast a commercial and whoever sees it, sees it. Sure there are sophisticated demographic analyses of those who watch what and when, but even with that knowledge the perception-leakage is substantial.

Just because it's a football game doesn't mean there isn't a substantial female audience, and just because it's a chick-flick program doesn't mean some guys aren't watching whether they want to or not. Television viewing is a shared family experience resulting from direct and indirect group negotiations. As a consequence, if a fast food company runs multiple ads aimed at different audiences, children, parents, and teenagers, all viewed by a demographically diverse audience, the result is a confused mixed message, and a deterioration of the brand personality.

Different Strokes For Different Folks

The Web is a whole different animal. Where television is a negotiated group viewing experience, enjoyed or at least tolerated by different family members, the Web is an individual viewing experience, not usually shared with others. That means different messages can be delivered to different audiences without the concern that each message is polluting the others or the overall brand image.

So What's The Big Deal With Video?

Why do we stress video so much, well that's what we do, so what do you expect, but more importantly we do it because it is the most effective and efficient tool you have to communicate your marketing message to your audience. The thing you have to remember about video is that it's easy to do, but hard to do right.

Delivering Meaningful Content: It's About Context and Subtext

Nothing exists in a vacuum, especially when it comes to marketing and advertising. The direct marketing message you deliver must exist within a physical and cultural framework, while the indirect marketing message you present must resonate within the mind of the viewer. A properly conceived video microsite takes these things into consideration and communicates a memorable concept informed by them.

Web Video Context is the emotionally relevant scenario created for the purpose of delivering your marketing message, while Web Video Subtext is the subconscious psychological message that strikes a nerve, triggers desire, and motivates action. Together context and subtext create a meaningful, relatable experience that defines your brand personality and leaves a lasting memorable impression.

It all starts with a relatable scenario that draws upon an audience's life experiences, preconceptions, and attitudes. Done correctly, an audience will relate and identify with the characters presented, the language used, and the performance delivered, with each element enhanced and embedded in memory by visual and non-verbal cues combined with sophisticated sound and music design.

Video Marketing to Increase Website Traffic

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Not long ago, videos over the internet were only for entertainment purposes. Since the evolution of Internet marketing however, different marketing strategies came out. Among the latest trends in Internet marketing is Video marketing.

Video marketing is an increasingly popular way to generate traffic and increase your website's popularity. It has been an effective tool for companies who aim to advertise their business in the shortest possible time, with an unlimited range of viewers.

Of course, it's not just about putting up a vid that talks about your business. There's a huge difference between a 10-minute video with a boring, less informative content than a comprehensive and catchy 30-second video! The video must be well constructed to instantly catch viewer's attention and interest. In short, you must see to it that it is effective and not just loaded with talk about your website.

What's the advantage of video marketing? Today, the average attention span of a web user is measured in seconds. Having a short clip that speaks well of your product is proven to be more effective than the lengthy text in your web pages. Another advantage of using videos is that you can have them hosted by other sites such as the world-famous YouTube.com. Having a third party directing loads of traffic to your website is a huge boost to your daily web traffic. This method also is said to increase your rankings in Google. Aside from YouTube there are plenty of video streaming sites that let you upload and play your videos for free. Well-made videos are as good as video advertisements that you put on air.

Here are some pointers in video marketing:

Optimize your videos for Search Engines

Optimize not only for video search engines, but also for content search engines. A good approach would be to use meta tags for the content (text) of the page where your video is placed.
Give relevant names to your videos. It's highly improbable that your video will show up in the SERPs if it is called "12032002.mov" rather than "XYZ- antivirus-demo.mov".
Use keywords relevant to your product in the video titles and in their descriptions. Video search engines will find it much easier to index your video files and link it to your web pages.
Use anchor text if you link to the video from other pages of your Web site.
Make sure the video files you submit have the proper file extension.
Make the video short but informative. It must be catchy and able to convey your message.
SEO professionals recommend creating separate video site maps, which can be submitted to video and content search engines alike. Both kinds of search engines will index these site maps.
Remember to include RSS feeds where possible too.
To succeed in video marketing, there's more to learn than coming up with an enticing video. Be aware of video marketing guidelines, tips, and optimization. Video marketing is definitely a powerful way to increase website traffic.

Rescue Time With One Simple Change

Image : http://www.flickr.com

This simple tip might just be my all-time favorite when it comes to rescuing time in social media.

It's about Facebook.

More specifically, it's about Facebook notification emails.

Even more specifically, it's about how to turn them OFF.

Most people I work with are already flooded with emails for business, from clients, friends, subscriptions, and countless others. The dozens of notifications for every little thing that happens on your Facebook profile can get, well, just annoying. Not to mention those notifications can bury the important emails under the flood, making them easy to miss.

Fortunately, it's an easy fix.

Just go to the top right corner of your page to "Account."

Then "Account Settings."

Then click the 3rd tab from the left, "Notifications."

There you'll find a loooong list of things that Facebook automatically sends you an email notification about.

To the left of each item is the option to check whether or not you want to receive that email notification - simply uncheck it and the notifications will stop.

I've found that the only email notifications I want are the weekly birthday reminders (because I do like to say celebrate and wish people Happy Birthday!) and the weekly Pages admin updates (so I can keep up with the growth of my Page and my clients' Pages.) All the other dozens of notifications? Well, I can find them when I actually get on Facebook,

And don't forget to hit "Save Changes" on the bottom of the page!!

Then, instead of being besieged by a flood of emails all day long, you can simply check in on your Facebook profile once a day for a few minutes to see posts, messages, new friends, birthday reminders, and the like!

Simple, easy change = less cluttered email inbox and more time for your genius work!

How to Get More YouTube Views and Subscribers

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Titles

An eye catching title is the make or break of the number of views your video receives. YouTube users usually browse around and click on the videos which interest them, the only selling point your video has at this stage is the title so don't underestimate it.

When you are choosing your title, don't make it too long and consider using words like Exclusive! Don't Miss! Or Must See! Another good tip when choosing a title is to use a question which will be answered in your video, the human brain can not let questions go unanswered.

Descriptions

Descriptions are another important factor in gaining more YouTube views because they give people information about your video. In order to maximize views you will need to give an accurate description of your video. Make your description short and informative, you can even place your link in your description to gain more traffic to your site.

Keywords

In order for your video to be found by users you must be using your keywords efficiently, when a user searches for something, if your keywords are amongst those words then your video will show up in the search. Therefore put down as many descriptive keywords which relate to your video as possible, maximizing your viewers. Use long tail and short tail keywords.

Quality of Video

The quality of your video most important, if the quality is no good, nobody wants to watch it. Its as simple as that. If its great quality people will watch it over and over, even inviting friends to watch it, attracting more views. If your video quality is not the best you can add &fmt=18 to the end of video URL to make it better quality. You will also want to make sure that the content of the video is good quality too. Make it short, informative and attractive. Don't ramble on for 5 minutes because people cant be bothered to watch long boring videos.

YouTube Friends

YouTube friends can get you more views and subscribers. Add as many friends as you can (20-40 per day) and before you know you will have loads of friends who become subscribers and view your videos.

When you have a lot of friends, people who visit your channel see this and are more inclined to view your videos and add you as a friend as well.

In summary, if you are after more subscribers you need to post regular, good quality videos and basically do all of the above! This does not happen overnight but with consistency you can raise your number of views and subscribers dramatically within a few months. These tips will help you to gain more YouTube views and subscribers when used with persistence and consistency.

Wishing you Success

How often do game consoles break down?

The current generation of video game consoles isn't as sturdy as previous versions of the same. The primary example that would illustrate this fact is, without a doubt, Microsoft's Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 is plagued by a persistent problem signified by 3 red lights - infamously labeled as the 3RL or the 3RLOD (3 red lights of death) - on the front of the console itself. These 3 red lights indicate general hardware failure, the details of which Microsoft refuses to discuss in public. The 3RL problem is rather prevalent. Microsoft pegs it at 16%, but observers believe that it can go as high as 60%.

Now, the 3RL problem, which was once thought of as hopeless, has been dissected by home-based enthusiasts and some cures have been formulated. Microsoft refuses to acknowledge these cures. However, these cures do work, and often, these cures permanently solve the 3RL problem.

Here's where it gets pretty interesting if you want to make money repairing game consoles: cures for 3RL problems for the Xbox 360 are easy to implement. By merely studying the procedures involved, you'd be able to get a unit up and running in no time. You don't need thorough knowledge of electronics. You don't need experience in repairs. You don't need to read complicated schematics. Just follow some YouTube videos and you're good to go.

But not every console owner would be willing to learn these things.

Hence, the demand for game console repairs.

People who make money repairing game consoles either repair the consoles themselves or publish information products, such as eBooks and special reports, detailing steps on how to fix these video game units. One such entrepreneur who sells an information product on how to fix the dreaded 3RL problem for the Xbox 360 earn more than $1,000 per day by merely advertising his product over at a popular Xbox 360 forum.

There are main players in the video search and sharing marketing industry just like there are main players in the SEO mainstream search engine industry. Google recognized this in early 2007 and finalized the purchase of YouTube in November of 2007 even though they already had Google video search. They realized that YouTube controlled over 52% of the video viewer traffic with their online video sharing site, and made wise decision to purchase them

They also new they would now be the leading search engine as well as the leading online video share engine site as well as the leader in online video sharing sites. it is mo wonder that every search engine marketer, and video sharing and video marketer uses Google as the template to design their respective online marketing strategies.

If you plan on converting you online articles such as newspaper articles, and how to articles, you have posted to various news article directories and article directories, you will need to understand how YouTube lists and measures your online videos. Well that depends on allot of different variables. In my opinion and there are many out there, there two variables you need to pay very close attention too. You need to identify who the opinion leaders are and how they discover the videos they would like to share with their followers. And number two you need to identify where they are discovering, when, and how.

In the first variable there the opinion leaders identify and download videos they think their followers might be interested in. In the second variable they are actually spreading their influence by recommending videos for their followers to watch. This could be millions of viewers or just a few depending on what there niche is and how many followers they have. For example YouTube editors could be classified as opinion leaders because they recommend sites to viewers in the different channels. If you end up on one of these recommend hot lists it could turn in to massive traffic depending how large your channel following is.

Well folks that concludes my article about submitting video articles to online video sharing sites and online video search engine sites.

Tips For Making a Better Video For Home Or the Website

Image : http://www.flickr.com

The explosion of free video sharing websites has made shooting personal videos a rather ordinary affair; everyone is doing it. But even before this happened, home videos were viewed as a fantastic way to record and preserve memorable events in one's life.

Whether the video is meant for viewing at home or for uploading to the Internet, one thing that anyone quickly notices is the poor quality of these videos.

Make Your video Look Like a Pro's...

Many home videos are hardly viewable which defeats the very purpose of making them in the first place. 'But after all, they are amateur videos. And that is correct so one cannot expect a movie-standard production. However, contrary to what many realize, the tips for making a better video are so easy to follow that one would wonder why they did not use them in the first place.

First, it is important that one identify the objective for recording the video and the intended audience. That's right! Even for a home video, this is absolutely important. This information plays an important part in determining the volume of the video content, the types of angles the shoots should take, whether there will be interviews or not and the inclusion of any other features that will be relevant to the production.

Use Good Equipment...

Another one of the key tips for making a better video is ensuring that the equipment used is of good quality. This does not mean that you must look for the most expensive video cameras in the market. Rather, there is a certain minimum standard of camera that should give you an acceptable level of quality as far as the final product goes.

A Good Foundation, Tripods Work!

When it comes to the actual shooting, you might need to get a tripod stand to use as a support for the camera. Many amateur videos are often characterized by a hazy picture due to shaking by the person doing the filming. It might not seem significant during the recording but as one sits back to see the entire shoot, the realization that the video is unpresentable becomes apparent.

A number of camcorders come with a tripod stand. However, if you do not have one, buying one is not that expensive especially when you consider its benefits. A tripod stand also allows the person doing the filming to, when required, join in with the persons being filmed without leaving out anyone else that is required to be in the video.

Learn the Fine Adjustments...

How you zoom and change shooting angles is also one of the important tips for making a better video that you should pay attention to. Changing the shooting angles has the ability to liven an entire shoot. If you have to film a certain object for a while, do not be fixated in only one angle.

However, you must avoid constantly adjusting the shot as it quickly tires the viewer and leads to disinterest.

Whenever you have to zoom or change the angles from which you take the shots, doing it smooth and slow is the way to go. Never jerk the camcorder from one angle to another and avoid zooming in and out on the same object.

These few video tips should help you shoot a clip that is worthy of an Oscar!

YouTube is now the #2 search engine on the web. And if you don't have videos on YouTube, you are missing on millions of searches done by your perfect customers and client

YouTube is no longer just for folks with too much time on their hands. Its a serious business tool, used by small entrepreneurs as well as corporate giants.
However, if you aren't careful, YouTube may be handing scores of your viewers right over to your competitors.

Here is why:

When you embed a YouTube video on your site, using their easy copy and paste embed option, when your video concludes, clickable thumbnails of scores of other videos are shown. Meaning your viewers can click on them and be taken away from your blog, website or wherever you embedded the video. But there is a quick way you can avoid this mistake, and keep all your viewers to yourself.

First, go to the page where the video you uploaded to YouTube is displayed.

Second, to the right of your video near the top of the page is a gray box with a text field titled Embed. This is what you can copy and paste into your blog or web page to have your video show up.

But no so fast! You new take one more step to insure you aren't funneling your viewers to your competitors. To the right of the Embed text field is a small button with what looks like a blue gear on it. Click it and you will see several options appear. One of which is a check box titled Include related videos. Make sure this box is unchecked. This is crucial: Make sure the Included related videos box is unchecked. This automatically changes the embed code so that when your video ends, their only option is to replay your video. Keeping your viewers on your site, and increasing the probability they will become your customer.

The fact is, your customers are not only responding to online video marketing, they are expecting it. And by knowing a few simple secrets like this, you can insure your videos return many times the investment in time it took to create them.

Making Money Online Using Social Networking

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Hi Edden Jones again here. Making money online is a very simple theory, you just need to drive people to your website where people will buy your product. The hard part of course is getting people to your website in the first place!

There is so much information available about how to do this it can be overwhelming. My advice for someone starting out trying to make money on the Internet would be, keep it simple! You don't need to master SEO or spend a fortune on pay per click. Use social networking, become a master of it and you can reap the rewards, and best of all it free!

I concentrate my marketing on 3 main social networking sites:

Facebook
Twitter
Youtube
I do use some others but these 3 sites when used correctly can drive more than enough traffic to my sites. With Facebook and Twitter it's important to not abuse them, by this I mean not spamming with every status update or tweet, don't do it! No one wants to be bombarded with you advertising your business every 5 minutes! it's boring. The correct way to do it is to add friends and followers everyday, thus building your 'audience'. Make sure you update your status everyday but with non business stuff, this will help get your personality across and keep people interested. Every 3 or 4 days you can put something about your business with a link to your website, that's fine. Just don't over do it!

Get as many Youtube video's of your business up as possible. People like to see video's especially if it's just a video of you talking to camera because it shows your a real person, and again, gets your personality across. Subscribe to other people's channel and put in a good comment on their channel and they will do the same to you, again this will build an 'audience' and get your vids ranked higher.

Keep doing this and you will see results from social networking!

How to Market Your Salon & Spa on WordPress Using a Blog

Image : http://www.flickr.com

What the heck is a Blog?

A blog is like a website, but in more of a journal format with chronological posts. It should be used in addition to a website.

One of the best places to get a free blog is on the WordPress website. And the links you build here from your blog to your website will assist you in having your website ranked higher in the Google search engine.

It's fairly easy to set up a WordPress account. Just log into WordPress and provide a username and password. WordPress will send you an email confirmation and you reply to it. Now you are in.

You will want to create a name for your WordPress Blog that uses your Salon or Spa name. For instance, we'll call this MySalonandSpa and the blog name. Consequently, to see your blog, you go to MySalonandSpa and then add WordPress to the end of that with a period between spa and WordPress and then add the standard period and com after that like you would on a regular website (sorry, these articles are now allowed to put in domain names whether or not they exist:)

You will set up these 3 things:

Select a Theme & Insert your Custom Header
About Me Page
Your First Post

First, you'll want to select a theme.

A theme is your blog format. They come with the ability to create your own custom header. I prefer the Cutline theme by Chris Pearson. After selecting this theme by click on Appearances, it will prompt you for a custom header.

Don't use of the canned, generic ones. You want to be unique. Show your creativity. The dimensions are 770 x 143. It's now time to really get out of your comfort zone. Under you Windows start menu, click on Paint. Paint is a very, very basic graphics program, but it will do just fine here.

Once in Paint, click on Image, then on Attributes. Select pixels, then put in 770 as the width and 143 as the height. This is your canvas. Start by inserting your picture on the left and a company logo on the right to begin. Now put some text in the middle like the name of your salon or spa and a smaller byline like "The Pampering Experts". Now save this file as a JPG (a picture file). Select the new image file you just created. Now look at your new profile by entering your WordPress blog name in a different browser window. Don't like how it turned out? No worries. Go back into paint and adjust it and re-upload the JPG file again. Repeat as many times as you like.

Second, let's add an About me page. By default, WordPress already creates an About page. So click on Pages, then edit that. I like to use a title of About Me, or About MySalonandSpa. Then edit the body of that page using the WordPress interface. It's just like using MSWord. When you are finished, click on the upper right side that says update. Your changes are immediately transferred to the internet so you can go to the second browser window you have opened with your live blog and click on refresh or press the F5 button.

Lastly, let's add a new post. Again by default, WordPress creates a default post called "Hello World". Just select that post and delete it. After you delete it, let's select "Add New Post". Give your post a name like "Welcome to MySalonandSpa". In here, just enter your location, a quick note about yourself and insert a copy of the directions from a map as a image. It's also very easy to insert a video from YouTube. You can even insert that video we created in that other article in these series called "How to Market Your Salon & Spa on Youtube".

And always end each post with a link back to your website by inserting a hyperlink (there is a icon that looks like a chain).

As a Salon and Spa marketing on WordPress, you'll want to post weekly specials. Document events and posts videos and pictures. Write articles on each of your staff members. Tell your story. Personally brand yourself and your Salon and Spa and people will connect with you. And always end each post with a link back to your website by inserting a hyperlink (there is a icon that looks like a chain).

And that's how you market your Salon and Spa on WordPress using a Blog.

Opting to go the free route: Free advertising mainly consists of SEO and or Article Marketing. These two methods have proven to be consistent when it comes to producing leads to your business.

A huge advantage of free advertising or free traffic, is that it's free! Well, if you really think about it, nothing is actually free.

With free traffic, your main expense is time. As you may know time is valuable. SEO and article marketing take more time to see results than paid methods of advertising which are almost immediate.

Choosing paid advertising over free advertising: Okay some of us are impatient. Scratch that, most of us are impatient.

We want results and we want them fast. If you are that kind of person, then you may want to consider looking into paid advertising.

If opt to go the paid route, you are given access to almost immediate results. Not to mention the endless amount of testing and tweaking you can do on the spot.

If you are a numbers person, perhaps this is the best option for you to take.

No matter which option you choose, the end result ends up being the same. You are essentially making the effort to get as much traffic to your sites as possible.

Before you make a decision on which method is best for you, be sure to analyze your options.

The route you take will vary depending on your skill level, budget and how fast you want to see results.

If you choose the free route, be prepared to spend time as opposed to money. Results will come by a little slower.

In order to see success with SEO or article marketing, you will need to do your planning before-hand. You will not have the ability to test whether your campaign was a success right off the bat, so it is imperative that you plan ahead.

With paid advertising you need to be careful not to throw away your money. Testing is also important to make the most out of your hard earned money.

5 Great Tips on How to Make More Money on YouTube

Image : http://www.flickr.com

These five tips will make you money on YouTube. If you can't afford being a partner don't worry, you can still make a lot of money even if you don't use AdSense.

These are some of the best ways that I know and used to squeeze some cash off my videos. Use them under your own responsibility.

1- Promote a ClickBank product putting your affiliate link on your video description.

2- Offer companies video reviews of their products.

3 - Contact your closest local small business and film a short demo video of their pub, shop or product.

4- Make a private live webinar teaching all your YouTube tutorials and how-to's for your subscribers only and throw in some bonus material. You can ask for donations or fixed fee.

5- Learn how to get more views on YouTube and get your video featured on YouTube's global homepage.

I've used each and every one of these methods many times and I've made a lot of money. It didn't allow me to quit my job because I don't have a job at all.

I'm finishing my last year at the university and I'm already making more money than some on my teachers. No kidding.

Of course I do more stuff than just YouTube video marketing but I can openly say it's one of my main sources of income.

If you are not making videos and publishing them on video sites like YouTube then you are missing a huge opportunity.

Most internet marketers are stuck in the old fashioned landing page type of sales with testimonials and crappy headlines.

Make a lot of videos, increase YouTube views enough to be a an authority in your niche and you will make a lot of money. Trust me, with the little competition there is, you can do it in a matter of just a couple of weeks.

Image : http://www.flickr.com

No matter what online business you are in, without traffic it will fail. Many people search for ways to make money online and never succeed because they don't realize the number one factor for online success.

Traffic. And lots of it.

And not just any traffic, but targeted traffic. You can get thousands of hits a day to your website, but if you aren't selling what your visitors are looking for that traffic is useless. The traffic must be targeted, which means the people must be looking for what you have to offer before they ever get to your site. There are many ways to get targeted traffic such as Pay Per Click which is where you pay a certain amount every time someone clicks on the link to your website.

There are also some very good ways to generate free targeted traffic, and YouTube Marketing is a very good one. YouTube Marketing consists of simply recording videos and uploading them to YouTube and having a link to your website in the description.

Many internet marketers have never heard of YouTube Marketing, and there are even some who upload videos to YouTube for fun but don't even think of using it for marketing their website. If you are trying to market a business or product online then I am sure you've heard of Article Marketing. Well, YouTube Marketing is similar.

With Article Marketing, you have a link to your website at the bottom of your articles so that the people who read your article will see it.

With YouTube Marketing, you can put a link in the video description so that when someone watches your video they will see the link to your website in the description.

Also, webmasters may embed your video on their website just as webmasters will use articles for content on their website. And when someone clicks on the video it will take them to YouTube's website where your link can be seen.

Some YouTube videos get viewed hundreds of thousands of times per month, so just think of the traffic you could get if you had 50 or 100 or more videos uploaded to YouTube.

The amount of traffic you could get is staggering.
